VISION :
In Panchla Mahavidyalaya, classes started from the Academic Session 2011-12. The College started by offering B.A. General Degree in Bengali, Education, English, History and Political Science. The college caters mainly to the higher education of the local minority community, most of whom come from economically backward areas. The college strives to provide quality education to the economically backward students, and most of the students who take admission in the college are girls. The college runs a NSS unit and it also conducts annual sports, community outreach programmes. Study tours and blood donation/health camps on a regular basis apart from taking the regular academic classes. The college believes in conducting serious academic exercise and aims to provide an all-round development of the students.
MISSION:
The College believes in imparting all round education to its students. The college is located in a socio-economically backward region an so the college has to keep in mind this reality while imparting the curriculum. The Mission of the college also comprises of expanding to different courses like B.Com Honours and general and also to Science courses. The college is also on the verge of opening a Students’ Health Home and is awaiting the permission of the govt. of West Bengal regarding the matter. The college aims at establishing a healthy and constructive relationship between the students and community at large, apart from imparting serious academic courses to the students.
